The merriest of holiday greetings to all my wonderful customers! It is such a joyous time of the year when mankind celebrates the birthday of our Lord Jesus and for us to take time to remember that He is the greatest gift we could ever receive. I love Him so and my customers know that without Him my shop would be nothing. Well, we spent the week of November 10 bringing out all our Christmas refinery and oh my goodness but it was a lot of hard work. There were four of us working nonstop for three days setting up Christmas trees and hanging new prints and setting up displays and decorating the outside of the shop and oh my goodness I can not even tell you everything we did. But once we stepped back and saw how Pumpkin House Primitives turned out it brought tears to my eyes. I am so deeply in awe of what a nice shop I truly have. It has been a long 15 years that my hubby and I worked at this to make it what it is today and I am so proud of all the hard work that we put into the shop. It is a shop that is mixed with country and touches of colonial and somehow it all pulls together and just shines. I told you of my faith in God and it is He who keeps me going and gives me energy to keep this fast pace up dear readers. My husband passed away over two years ago and this was our dream. So as I see the twinkling lights on the trees and all the beautiful things about the shop that we loved buying together it causes my heart to sing a happy song. He would be proud of me!
